Bio

Richard was born and raised on the edge of Bristol, and always had a passion for music. He began to learn the piano from the age of 7, and by the time he was 14 he was playing gigs on the local pub circuit.

Around the time he left school, he formed a band which played to huge audiences at festivals, corporate events, sporting events, private parties and weddings across the UK and Europe. Many of the original band members still play live with him today.

Richard’s strongest influence in music has always been Elton John, and when he was 14 he got to meet his hero backstage at a concert. 

“Dear Richard, Lovely to meet you. Keep playing and you’ll be a star, Love Elton”

With many requests to perform publicly, and after seeing one of Elton’s Farewell Tour shows in early 2023, Richard decided that he wanted to continue the legacy, using his talent as a performer to keep Elton’s music alive on stage.
